BP 22 Week 1 Wimba Session"Course Intro and Projects"

This first week's Wimba session was very informative, yet a bit overwhelming (in a good way). I am a visual learner/ logical learner, meaning I need to see things and put in a certain order to enable me to understand and comprehend it best. That goes for words and pictures. There was so much great information, I could not keep up with it all in 'real time'. I had to take screenshots, notes and go back to the archives in order to take apart and sift for the key components. Joe, you are very helpful and yet still challenging use to be the best we can with everything from the 100% starting off with GPS to the login and password requirements for each dashboard assignment. Looking forward to completing and fine tuning my AR Website during this month.

  1. @Dedra,
This is definitely challenging and helping us to get the most out of this experience while at the same time helping us to deliver the best project that we can. The information in week 1's Wimba was overwhelming but at the same time helpful and broken into smaller pieces for us to work on.

  2. @ Dedra-I am finding that I am becoming more of a visual learner as this program moves along. I used to be the type of person who only needed to listen well and I got everything I needed. Now, I second guess almost everything I hear and believe that what I see is not as it seems either. With that said, I find myself reading the instructions of an assignment over and over again before I finally seek out clarification from a classmate. I am glad distant learning is not solo learning because I know I am getting by with a little help from my friends.

  3. @ KeW- Yes, I agree that the breaking it into smaller pieces is helpful.

@ Toni- Yes, distance learning has put a new meaning to that song and saying "No man is an island". I am not sure how this experience would have been without my online friends. You guys rock (and are quite entertaining! )!
